W. Kenneth Yancey, Jr. has served as CEO of the SCORE Association since 1993, developing SCORE into one of the most efficient, effective job creation and business formation engines in the nation. SCORE has served more than 10 million existing and aspiring small business owners since inception, creating 55,000+ new businesses and 45,000+ new jobs annually. Mr. Yancey leads 11,000 SCORE volunteer mentors in 300 chapters. Prior to joining SCORE, he served as Executive Director for the National Business Association.
One of the nation's leading advocates for small business, Mr. Yancey serves on the Small Business Advisory Council of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He helped launch the national Joining Forces Initiative in 2011, alongside President Obama, First Lady Michele Obama and Dr. Jill Biden.
