Lior Yaron

Lior Yaron can best be described as a Renaissance man. A philosophy major at university, a tank commander in the Israeli Army achieving the rank of Major and a writer of poetry which he read to his troops prior to battle. After leaving the military and deciding to call the United States his home, Lior founded LSY Companies in 1985 and continues as CEO today, still strategically growing the company. 

LSY started as the sole distributor of GE Appliances for baggage trade and contract business in the US and Canadian markets, which they still are today.
Lior is the consummate entrepreneur; thinking strategically about maximizing LSY’s opportunities. For example:

1992, started LSY Defense, specializing in purchasing for Israel under the US Foreign Military Financing Program.
2005, successfully sold a division of LSY to a private equity firm. 
2015 acquired the oldest furrier in Louisville, and with a few key people, quickly turned it into a profitable trend setter.

 Lior has been well recognized for his entrepreneurial success and contribution to the community over the years: 

1997 Kentucky entrepreneur of the year.
1998 Small Business Person of the year.
2008 MOSAIC Award - Jewish Family & Career Services, in recognition for his contribution to the betterment of his adopted hometown of Louisville, KY
